Spotify Lossless Arrives: CD-quality Streaming Rolls Out to Premium Users
Spotify has launched lossless streaming for Premium users at no extra cost, offering up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC. The rollout started September 10, 2025, in 50+ countries and works on updated mobile, desktop, and tablets, plus many Spotify Connect devices. Users must enable it per device in settings. Coverage spans nearly the entire 100 million-song catalog, putting Spotify back in the race with Apple Music and Amazon Music.
